The Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center is a boutique style hotel located on the campus of Michigan State University.

The Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center in East Lansing, Michigan offers both convenient and luxurious accommodations on the campus of Michigan State University.

The facility houses 160+ guest rooms, both indoor and outdoor meeting space (including an auditorium and lecture hall), and on-site dining. Centrally located on the campus, the hotel is a popular spot for business meetings, training seminars, conferences, weddings, reunions and other gatherings. It is within just a few blocks of the Wharton Center, Breslin Center, Spartan Stadium, Kresge Art Museum, Forest Akers Golf Course and Munn Ice Arena.

Each hotel room is wonderfully decorated with contemporary/retro furniture, complemented by warm color schemes and vibrant accent colors such as orange, yellow, red and lime green. Guests can choose from a standard, deluxe or luxury rooms or they may opt for a two room suite which is great for families, small group meetings or hospitality receptions. Other attributes of this hotel include:

  • Wi-Fi/Internet access through web tv.
  • On-site dining at the State Room (fine dining) or KC's Lounge (more casual). The State Room offers unique specialty Michigan and Spartan dishes such as the Michigan omelette (made with Michigan cherries) or the MSU Spartan breakfast. If you're a Spartan fan you'll love the butter in the shape of the Spartan mascot.
  • In-room dining.
  • Fitness center.
  • Complimentary parking.
  • Shuttle service to the airport.
  • Business services including faxing, copying, internet and mail service.
  • Hotel specials such as the MSU Parent Package Special, Kellogg's Theatre and Entertainment Package or the Romance Package.
  • Gift shop with a wide array of Spartan paraphernalia.
  • Great use of space planning in each room. The bathrooms in the standard rooms are quite a surprise. As with many European hotels, the shower is not separate from the rest of the bathroom. In fact, the shower faucet and floor drain are right in front of the toilet. Only a shower curtain separates the shower from the rest of the bathroom (take a look at the photos to learn more). This can make for a real mess in the bathroom if not careful.
  • Standard amenities including iron/ironing board, hairdryer, coffeemaker and complimentary newspaper.

Room rates average from $100 to $180, and over $300 per night for suites. In addition to campus activities, the hotel is just a few miles from downtown East Lansing. Downtown East Lansing offers lots of opportunities for entertaining including several eateries, boutiques and shopping centers, art galleries, sports bars and nighttime entertainment.
